Considered the origin of the Catalan culture, Ripoll is a northern small village with one of the most important monastery in the Ancient Roman Architecture.
“Capella de la Congregació” adjacent to the Monastery of Ripoll was rebuild in order to locate this permanent exhibition. This new space invites the visitor, prior to visit the monastery, to an intimate experience. The sign of the cross, as a crystal light glass, reflects to the generator of the culture inside the monastery; whereas the skin, the curved walls above, means what the monastery contributed in the Catalan culture.
